Rascal Flatts research - Task 2

Rascal Flatts is an American country music band. Since its inception, Rascal Flatts has been composed of three members: Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney  During the 2000–10 decade, Rascal Flatts recorded for Disney Music Group's Lyric Street Records. While on that label, the band released seven albums, all of which have been certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In order of release, these albums are Rascal Flatts (2000), Melt (2002), Feels Like Today (2004), Me and My Gang (2006), Still Feels Good (2007), Greatest Hits Volume 1 (2008) and Unstoppable (2009).

their songs and lyrics are generally routed from the conventions of their genre. they are typically love songs, whether that be new love, lost love or lack of love. they also have songs about the country side, a key feature in the conventions of country music.
most their videos are shot in the country, so to show the audience its where they come from and its very important to them, something the audience can relate to.
the gigs they play are varied. some they will play and are very intimate, with normally low key lighting, and very little movement. however they also play more up beat and more active sets, with lots of lighting and staging involved.
these are examples of both.

this is the music video for their song 'take me there'.
